ACX royalty page, posted April 28, 2026 and updated May 26, 2026. It says enrollment in the new royalty model is available to all ACX creators. Exclusive distribution to Audible, Amazon, and Apple Books is a 50 percent royalty. Non-exclusive distribution is a 30 percent royalty. Creators may suggest pricing and may opt in to an all-you-can-listen program. The page defines Member Value as the membership price minus taxes and fees, plus the value of extra credits, then divided proportionally and multiplied by the contractual royalty rate. The how-it-works page for authors says a creator can open a free account, must hold the audio rights, and can claim a title only if it is available as an ebook on Amazon. That page says finished files go to Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. Narrator payment on that page may be by the finished hour, a royalty split, or a hybrid.
Useful when: You need the current ACX royalty split, 50 percent for exclusive distribution and 30 percent for non-exclusive, and the account rules for claiming a title.
